Historic Jefferson Vineyards
When Thomas Jefferson and Italian Filippo Mazzei established vineyards in 1774, they chose the land adjacent to Monticello-the site of present day Jefferson Vineyards. With current vineyard plantings dating to 1981, Jefferson has produced some of Virginia's finest wines for over 20 years.
